Late summer 2024 Trident maple forest created spring 2024. Height of main tree is 32 in (80+cm). Yes, only 10 trees so far. Second picture shows the main trees in 2018.

Dwarf Hinoki cypress. Spent the day at Rosade bonsai with Chase helping me to find the best front and giving me advice on pruning, wiring and care. I purchased this tree from him in 2021 and I plan to submit it for consideration for the 2026 US National show. Chase imported a number of dwarf Hinoki seedlings from Japan about 30+ years ago. .blog

Colorado blue spruce demo tree by Marc Noelanders in 2024. Demo was at a Pennsylvania bonsai meeting in 2019 and I won the raffle. Tree was repotted into a bonsai pot in Spring 2020. It wasn’t thriving and I put it in the box in 2021 with fingers crossed. It has recovered nicely. Nice old looking bark. Tree after demo in 2019 in image to the right. Plan to try a ceramic pot again in spring, 2025.
