This week, we highlight the work of Soyeon Shin in “To Be Bound By Place and Lore”.
Extended gallery hours for Old City Gallery Walk today till 8:00 pm.
Soyeon invites viewers into her unique perspective of her day-to-day life, transforming the ordinary into a surreal reflection of her mental landscape. Her vibrant paintings reveal the beauty of the mundane. Grounded in South Korea's minimalist and industrial styles, she artfully explores the interplay between nature and man-made structures, capturing the essence of her local cityscape.

Featuring works by Anne Buckwalter, Dan Gunn, Raúl Romero, Isaac Scott, and Soyeon Shin, this exhibition explores the psychological and mythological aspects of regional identity.
