📸✨ Dive into the heart of the city with “Subway Surfer”! As a former commuter to Center City Philadelphia, the subway was my sanctuary, a place where the hum of the train and flickering lights set the stage for something extraordinary.

It was 2017. I was on the Broad Street Line, in a zen-like state, fully immersed in the sights, sounds, and smells around me. At Girard Ave, the doors opened to a burst of music and an electric energy. My senses tingled – something incredible was about to happen. I steadied my camera at the back door to gain my composition, ready to capture the magic.

Suddenly, a young boy bounded onto the train, his energy palpable. In those fleeting moments between Girard Ave and Erie Ave, I felt the world around me, my mastery of the camera allowing me to react intuitively. “Subway Surfer” was born in that instant, a stunning image that captures the raw, vibrant spirit of the City of Philadelphia.

Flash forward to 2023, and that young boy, now a young man, walked into the gallery. Seeing himself in “Subway Surfer” was a full-circle moment, a powerful testament to the enduring impact of a captured moment.
