Kathy Eroh Designs Bottle Cap Art I am inspired by the Outsider artists' use of cast off materials and the complexities of mosaics and Impressionistic paintings.

My favorite painters are Van Gogh and Chuck Close. I like the idea of using the cap that has it's own color and design to create icons.At a distance one sees the icon, but up close you see the individual cap. In this way art imitates life; things are not always what they seem. Life is simple and complex.
