The Society was started in 1999 when a small group decided that it was important to preserve the history of Penns Grove and to be able to share the history with others. Over the ensuing years the Society has expanded to encompass the towns of Carneys Point and Oldmans since the history and communities are intertwined.

Did you know The First National Bank of Pedricktown issued their own money? Stop in to see our new exhibit on Pedricktown to find out more interesting facts about this community. The museum reopens on Sunday, March 1 at 1 pm.
