A little blurb from Laurie Metzger…
As a photographer, I have always been drawn to light, color, texture, and the beauty found in unexpected details. Recently, I’ve discovered a new creative outlet in kiln fused glass, where I can explore those same elements in a completely different way. I’ve also been inspired by the talented artists in our gallery—their creativity encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and try something new. Creating fused glass has given me another way to interpret the landscapes, colors, and shapes that
have always inspired my photography
