Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Hall of Fame Ten men and five horses were the first honorees.

The Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Hall of Fame was founded in 1969 to promote and protect the history and heritage of the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon.

Join us as we celebrate the 110th Anniversary of Happy Canyon at the annual Reel Rodeo fundraiser on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Roy Raley Room!

Spend the evening with longtime Happy Canyon supporters Becky Waggoner and Jason Hill as they share stories, laughter, and memories from years of “putting on the show.” Guests will enjoy a delicious tri-tip or chicken dinner, wonderful company, and a full bar available for drinks throughout the evening.

On May 19th, the Portland Rose Festival Court joined the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Courts for a very special day in Pendleton. One highlight of the day was a tour through the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Hall of Fame.

Karen VanderPlaat hosted the courts on a spectacular journey through the museum, sharing the rich history, traditions, and stories that make Round-Up and Happy Canyon such treasured parts of the West. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate friendship, heritage, and the spirit of these iconic traditions together.

On May 12th, the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Hall of Fame proudly introduced the Class of 2026 Hall of Fame inductees to its membership during the annual meeting.

These individuals represent the heart, heritage, and spirit of Round-Up and Happy Canyon traditions — honoring generations of excellence, dedication, and western pride. We are excited to celebrate the newest class of inductees and recognize the incredible impact they have made on our community and western culture.
