Cheers to 250 years! Heritage Museum hosted 150 guest for Lunch on the Lawn and museum tours Saturday. Sons of Veterans of Union Soldiers of the Civil War held camp on the front lawn. A violinist played period dance music while guests enjoyed the day. Sunday we celebrated Americas 250th with a country school theme float. Children and our favorite teacher dressed in pioneer costumes. Thank you to everyone who supported the museum this weekend!

Porch Progress - Heritage Museum of Thurston County. The brick mortar joints were showing the effects of weathering after 120 years. Repointing these would be time consuming and labor intensive. Quick Wall is a surface bonding product with fiber. Good choice under the porch. Excellent product, it can actually be used to build block walls without joints. Mud tender.
