Donna Chalimonczyk’s work moves between observation and intuition.

Working primarily in watercolor and acrylic, her paintings emerge gradually, layer by layer, until forms begin to reveal themselves.

Recurring motifs, like sunflowers, become more than subjects; they carry a quiet sense of hope, presence, and continuity.

This selection offers a glimpse into a practice grounded in patience, light, and the subtle beauty of everyday moments.

This month, we are proud to present Donna Chalimonczyk as our Artist of the Month.

Working primarily with watercolor and acrylic, Donna approaches painting as a process of discovery. Where images slowly emerge through the interaction of water, pigment, and time. Her work reflects a deep commitment to observation, translating everyday moments into expressive compositions.

With decades of experience and a strong presence in the local art community, her practice continues to evolve while remaining rooted in curiosity and exploration.

Follow along this month as we take a closer look at her work, process, and artistic vision.
