What if the peace you’re searching for begins with being here, now? 🕊️

“Awakening to the Present,” from my new dove series.

An anatomical heart becomes the root of a living bloom. Leaves become hands—one supporting a dove, the other gently meeting the opening flower. Body and nature grow together.

There are many ways to read these symbols: the heart as our source of connection, the flower as awakening, and the dove as an invitation to peace. The open hand offers another possibility: welcoming what comes without needing to hold it tightly.

As September carries us from Virgo season toward Libra’s themes of balance and harmony, this image offers a question to sit with: how can we stay rooted in the present while remaining open to what’s unfolding?

Perhaps something in your own life is asking for that same gentle attention. 🤍

A message from the universe… or someone overdue for a nap? 😂

During my recent presentation at Barnes & Noble in Mohegan Lake, I was discussing symbology, my oracle decks, and the spiritual meanings we find in everyday life when a little one in the children’s section made themselves heard.

Someone asked if I’d seen that coming. Intuitive as I may be… honestly, no! 😂

If we’re looking for symbolism, perhaps it was a reminder to release control, make space for someone else’s feelings, or stop taking ourselves quite so seriously. Maybe an invitation to connect with our inner child—or simply appreciate that an actual child was having a moment. 💜

Sometimes things happen, and the wisdom is in how we respond. In this case, with a little patience and a good laugh.

Nadine Gordon-Taylor’s The Karmic Ring almost reads like a celestial map of the energy surrounding us now. 🌕🕊️♓️

During the first minutes of August 28, a deep partial lunar eclipse occurred under the Pisces Full Moon, drawing 96.3% of the Moon into Earth’s umbral shadow. The two cratered bodies flanking Saturn can be read as echoing Pisces’ two fish—swimming in opposing directions between spirit and matter, surrender and control, intuition and logic. The artwork’s dramatic contrasts similarly mirror the eclipse’s meeting of illumination and shadow.

The repeated Poseidon tridents invoke Neptune—the Roman counterpart of Poseidon and modern astrological ruler of Pisces. Neptune is currently retrograde in Aries, asking us to revisit our dreams, spiritual identities and the line separating divine inspiration from illusion.

Saturn, crowned by its unmistakable ring at the top of the artwork, is also retrograde in Aries. In a piece titled The Karmic Ring, its presence feels especially resonant: Saturn governs time, boundaries, consequences and the lessons we must integrate before moving forward. With both Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries, the sky asks whether our dreams have the courage—and the structure—to become real.

Each element appears within the image and tonight’s astrology:

🌊 Water flows through Pisces, the eclipse and Poseidon’s tridents.

🔥 Fire rises through Aries, where Saturn and Neptune are reviewing how vision becomes action.

🌬️ Air moves through the dove, clouds and Venus in Libra—amplifying peace, beauty, balance and relationship.

🌿 Earth appears in the rooted leaves and the Virgo Sun, grounding Pisces’ spiritual revelations in discernment, care and tangible practice.

At the center sits the dove, sacred to Aphrodite and Venus, holding peace within a landscape of karmic cycles, cosmic tension and transformation.

Perhaps that is the message of this moment: surrender without losing your boundaries, trust your intuition without abandoning discernment, and carry peace through the shadow—not around it.

Maybe dogs have been holding the keys to success this whole time—and we were too busy asking humans. 🐾🔑

National and International Dog Day may have been a few days ago, but this lesson is timeless.

In Nadine Gordon-Taylor’s The Key to Success, featured in her Heart Path Oracle Deck, two canine companions literally carry the keys—and perhaps they truly do.

Dogs encourage routines, movement, time outdoors, play and social connection. They give us a reason to rise on difficult mornings and interrupt our stress with a walk, a loving nudge or an urgent reminder that now is absolutely the time to throw the ball.

Energetically, dogs embody loyalty, protection, intuition, presence and unconditional love. They teach us to remain devoted to what matters, trust what we sense, forgive quickly and celebrate life’s smallest victories with our whole bodies.

Success isn’t only about achievement. It’s about creating a life we are present enough to enjoy.

Perhaps the real keys are consistency, connection, intuition, joy and love—with the wisdom to know when to sit, when to stay and when to run toward what calls us.

Monday Motivation ✨

During my presentation on symbology at Barnes & Noble this weekend, I reminded everyone that our words carry intention.

When you’re working with affirmations and manifestation, speak in the positive. Be mindful of the thoughts you’re sending into the universe—but also of the messages you’re absorbing from the people and energy around you.

It’s easy to become stuck in negative thought patterns without realizing how often we’re reinforcing them. Pause. Listen to the way you speak to yourself. Then consciously redirect your words toward what you want to welcome into your life—not what you fear.

You have God given abilities that have been played down most of your life for many different reasons. Now is the time to open your inner and outer eyes and see who you truly are. Whatever career you have chosen you are much more influential than you realize. ….Its affirmations are: I am here to be a strong and steady beacon for others. I am more powerful than I realize. I am a forced to be reckoned.

Listen to these words over and over again -repeat them over and over again until they have integrated into your body mind and soul. It is time to wake up. It is imperative that you wake up!

Thank you to everyone who joined us today at Barnes & Noble in Mohegan Lake to support Third Eye Arts Studio & Gallery and Nadine Gordon-Taylor!

Nadine shared a special presentation exploring symbology, spirituality, and the intuitive language of oracle cards. She guided a group card pull using her published decks, answered thoughtful questions, and offered insight into interpreting symbols, choosing cards, and developing a more personal card-reading practice.

The energy in the room was wonderful, and it meant so much to see such generous support from members of our local arts community, longtime friends, new faces, and everyone who came with an open and curious spirit.

A manifestation tip to remember the next time you look at a receipt: Don’t immediately think, “I just lost that money.”

Instead, think, “I had the money to pay for this.”

Feel genuine gratitude that the money was available to you and that it served a purpose in your life. Your mindset matters in quantum manifestation. When you focus only on what left your hands, you reinforce a sense of lack. When you appreciate what was available to you, you remain open to receiving more.

Money was in my pocket before, and more money can—and will—flow to me again.

🐝 Today is World Honey Bee Day—a beautiful opportunity to honor one of nature’s smallest creatures and greatest spiritual teachers.

The plant spirit images accompanying this post come from the original paintings I created for Plant Spirits Oracle: A 40-Card Deck and Guidebook, written by Laura Aversano and published by Bear & Company, an imprint of Inner Traditions.

The deck invites us to see plants not simply as objects in nature, but as living spiritual presences with their own intelligence, medicine and energy. The bee carries life between these plant spirits, moving from bloom to bloom and creating connection, regeneration and abundance.

Spiritually, bees have long been associated with purposeful work, creativity, cooperation, communication and sweetness. Yet the bee’s message is not simply to work harder. She teaches discernment—directing her energy toward what will nourish both herself and the hive.

For a simple manifestation ritual, place a small dish of honey on your indoor altar and light a yellow, gold or white candle. Write one intention related to meaningful work, community, creativity, prosperity or sweetness.

Hold the intention between your hands and say:

“Sacred bee, teach me to work with purpose, receive with gratitude and create in harmony. May my efforts bear fruit. May my gifts nourish the whole. May sweetness find its way to me—and through me.”

Close your eyes and imagine your intention as one of these plant spirits beginning to bloom. Envision the bee carrying your prayer into the living world, allowing the right connections, opportunities and inspiration to find you.

Please keep honey offerings indoors rather than leaving them outside for wild bees. You can reciprocate by planting a native flower, avoiding pesticides or supporting a local beekeeper.

Nature thrives through relationship, exchange and reciprocity—and so do we.
