Tom Nickelson began drawing on his experience as a biologist, to create stylized wildlife sculptures. Although he began carving soft woods with gouges, he now works exclusively with hardwoods carved with power tools. Tom specialize in carving trout. However, because he has an interest in all fish and wildlife, he carves a wide variety of birds, animals and mammals. Tom use a variety of hardwoods forhisy carvings, the more dramatic the grain the better.

Patricia Newton is an award winning artist. Her style is representational, utilizing a glazing technique of many thin layers of paint to create a translucent effect that provides depth and emanates light from her oils. The subtle shifts of light and color observed across time, become the foundation for the authentic mood and emotional depth within each work of art.

Over the years, Andy Needles has made wood furniture for family and friends. After being gifted a large amount of black walnut logs from the Adelaide/Paso Robles area, he had them milled and spent the next 10 years building furniture. Using reclaimed woods, Andy branched out to platters and cutting boards, inlaid with semiprecious stones and shells. These functional woodcraft items are treated with a food safe finish and made with California Sycamore, Black Locust, and Olive Wood.

Richard Mortensen creates delicate glass bowls by taking glass to an almost liquid state and then slowly cooling to fuse the pieces together. By incorporating pressure into the fusing process, Richard found a greater flexibility, allowing for more interesting color and pattern combinations.

After retirement from a very successful career as a medical professional, Ernie Miller now spends time enjoying his second love of wood turning. He uses a standard wood lathe to make wooden bowls and boxes, but his work is known for the exquisite design work on the lids created by an ornament rose engine lathe.

Diane Miller was born and raised in San Luis Obispo County and resides in Morro Bay. Diane has been a talented, self-taught glassblower since 1989. She uses a sling torch, with torch rods, tubing and Pyrex glass. Glass blowing requires extreme patience, tenacity and dexterity. Various forms of colored glass such as powders, frits and bars are used to create varied patterns and designs in each piece. The artist takes the heated glass on a blow pipe and rolls it over the color, picking up pieces with each roll. There is constant motion involved, blowing into a pipe to create a shape.
