💍 HAPPY 135th ANNIVERSARY, CHARLIE & AGNES!
On October 7, 1891, Charlie Krebs and Agnes Wolcott, both of Scranton, were married by Hon. A. E. Krebs, J.P.
Just two days later, The Mississippi Press carried the little announcement of their marriage. ❤️
By the 1900 census, Charlie and Agnes had four children living in their household: Charles L. Krebs, age 7; Fannie L. Krebs, age 5; Ethel M. Krebs, age 2; and Edgar M. Krebs, 8 months old. The census also tells us that Agnes had given birth to five children, with four still living.
But by 1910, the family's story had changed. Charlie was recorded as a widower, and Ethel was no longer listed in his household.
And that's about where our trail starts getting thin. 👀
So today, on Charlie and Agnes's 135th wedding anniversary, we're hoping their descendants might be able to help us fill in some of the blanks!
