🚢 The Mississippi Shipbuilding and Maritime Center had an incredible time participating in the "We Work the Waterways" event at the U.S. Coast Guard Station on Singing River Island! Over 100 Pascagoula High School students attended, learning about the vital role of our waterways and the many industries connected to them. 🌊⚓️

We were proud to partner with amazing organizations like Bollinger Shipyards, NOAA, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Port of Pascagoula to promote awareness of maritime careers and inspire the next generation of maritime professionals. Special thanks to the Pascagoula Propeller Club for hosting this event! 🙌

Our very own Jack Nail represented the Mississippi Shipbuilding and Maritime Center, sharing insights and engaging with students. We’re excited to continue promoting maritime workforce development and supporting the future of our local maritime heritage! 💼🌟
