New exhibits are hung monthly, and our staff is on hand for the Park City Gallery Association’s monthly gallery strolls and by appointment.

Her process begins with painted or printed grounds layered with handmade, hand-painted, and found papers, including maps, which she cuts and assembles into imagined landscapes and garden scenes constructed in the studio rather than observed from nature. A master quilter, she came to painting through the spatial logic of fabric—the interplay of positive and negative space, light and dark, and the hard seam edge as a compositional tool. Recurring references to moonlight, stars, and night establish a consistent atmospheric register: imagined gardens at the edge of darkness.

“Each object in nature is individual and unique. I look at grasses, flowers, and seaweeds—capturing their beauty and combining them in a unique and playful world.” Ferron’s decades as a master quilter continue to inform her painting and collage practice, where paper, color, and shape define space through the interplay of light and dark.
