The North Fork Historical Society The North Fork Historical Society offers the opportunity of learning about the history of the North Fork Valley. Call 527-3970.

We have two museums, The Paonia Museum and the Bowie Schoolhouse Museum. The museums are located near the Paonia River Park. The North Fork Historical Society is a non-profit organization and welcomes tax deductible donations.

We’re working hard cleaning and organizing and hope to be open at least a couple of days a week before long. We would love to have some volunteers to help us accomplish this! If you’re interested in volunteering or visiting our museums, call me at 527-3970. Both the Bowie School Museum and the Paonia Museum are filled with local history and artifacts and are truly worth your time.

The North Fork Historical Society "sponsors" two Paonia museums - the Paonia Museum and the Historic Bowie Schoolhouse Museum. The museums are currently closed but I am happy to meet people (in small groups) who would like to tour the museums. I can be reached at 527-3970 to arrange a tour.
