I’m an all-around marine artist& you can find me fishing the waters of the Gulf Of Mexico and hunting the lands of South Alabama with my family. I am married to an awesome woman who loves to fish and hunt as much as I do, and we have a super awesome little boy named Barrett. My goal with my artwork is to capture that feeling of realistic scenes and portray real-life outdoor experiences —freezing i

t to be shared and re-lived over and over again by those that hang my art on their wall. Everything from oil paints, acrylic paints, pencils, and charcoal. To see more of my original artwork and available prints, check out my website: www.captcolesaulsart.com

This sunset marsh painting sold before I could even finish sharing it.

A tailing redfish slipping through the grass at sunset is about as iconic as it gets on the Gulf Coast. The soft marsh colors, glowing sky, and heavy texture made this one one of my favorite coastal paintings I’ve created recently.

This original has found its home, but I’m currently accepting a limited number of custom fishing and coastal art commissions. If you’ve been wanting a redfish painting, marsh scene, or custom piece inspired by your favorite fishing memories, send me a DM and let’s create something unique for your space.

Get your dad a Father's Day gift that no one else has.

This original sunset redfish painting captures one of my favorite sights on the water, a tailing redfish pushing through a quiet marsh as the sun drops below the horizon.

If your dad loves fishing, the coast, or spending time on the water, this is the kind of gift he'll appreciate for years to come.

I'm running a Father's Day special on this piece, and once it's sold, it's gone.

DM me to claim it.

Still searching for a Father’s Day gift? 🎣

This original sunset redfish painting captures one of the most iconic sights on the water…a tailing redfish pushing through a quiet marsh as the sun drops below the horizon.

For the dad who loves fishing, the coast, and memories made on the water, this is a gift that will last a lot longer than another shirt or tackle gadget.

I’m running a special Father’s Day deal on this piece, but only one is available.

DM me to purchase before it’s gone

One of the coolest wedding rehearsal dinners I’ve ever been a part of.

I created a live Gyotaku print of a hogfish on 30A while guests watched, then the entire wedding party signed around the fish like a custom guest book. Between the open fire chef, the atmosphere, and everyone getting involved in the artwork, this turned into such a memorable piece. 🔥🎣

These are the kinds of commissions I love creating. Not just artwork, but experiences people will remember forever.

If you’re looking for a unique live wedding painter or custom coastal artwork experience for your wedding, rehearsal dinner, or event on 30A, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seaside, or anywhere along the Emerald Coast, shoot me a DM.

He said this painting needed a ballyhoo in it…I ignored the creative director this time 😂🎣

Luckily Barrett decided to let it slide for this one.

Big blue marlin. Heavy texture. Built to feel like that moment right before chaos erupts behind the boat.

What do y’all think…should I have listened to him? 👀

DM me to purchase this one or talk about a custom piece for your space.

POV: you walked up to watch me live paint…and accidentally bought it before I finished.

This marsh scene didn’t even make it through the day at the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County ArtsQuest Art festival.

Tailing redfish pushing bait in the grass.
An egret mid-hunt.
Heavy texture catching light like a real sunrise on the flats.

And somewhere between the first layer and the final stroke… it was already claimed.

That’s what happens when a piece hits before it’s done.

Most people wait to see the final product.
Collectors don’t.

If you’ve been looking for a marsh piece that actually feels like you’re standing in it… you already know how this goes.

Next one won’t last either.

DM me “NEXT” and I’ll make sure you see it before anyone else.

It was a great first day at the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County ArtsQuest Art festival in Grand Boulevard. Met some incredible people and sold this piece live while painting it, along with a few others. If you’re in the area come check out my work and see what I’ll be painting live for day 2 tomorrow!

That awkward skinny wall space? Fixed.

Final touches on this jellyfish piece, heavy texture, clean movement, and built to draw your eye up. This isn’t just art… it’s the piece that finally makes that narrow space make sense.

I know you’ve been looking for something to go there. This is it.

DM me to purchase this one before it’s gone.

Thinking about dropping a full coastal collection in this style… should I?
Comment “COASTAL” if you want first access 👀

Stop scrolling…this isn’t just a painting.

It’s a real swordfish…transferred to canvas.

Every scar. Every line. Every ounce of power… untouched.
You’re not looking at an interpretation, you’re looking at the fish itself, frozen in time.

This is Gyotaku.
It doesn’t recreate the catch…it preserves it.

The kind of piece that turns a fishing story into a statement on your wall.

Starting a new trend…when everything blends 🔥

When your art isn’t just on the wall…it is the wall.

“Drown”, a monochromatic, heavily textured marlin designed to disappear into the space until the texture catches you. Same tone. Same frame. Same energy.

This is what happens when art becomes an extension of your home instead of just something you hang in it.

Imagine this concept matched perfectly to your walls 👀

“Drown” is available.
DM me to claim this piece or commission a custom built to your exact space.
