Join us this Thursday 9/3 from 11am-1pm for our first gallery reception of the school year with visiting artist Tatsuki Hakoyama! Food and drinks will be served, don’t miss it!

“A Twist in the Tale” is the creation of artist Tatsuki Hakoyama, whose paintings reimagine familiar fables, folklore and fairy tales through a contemporary lens, revealing tensions between the past and present. Through whimsical compositions that merge representational and flat rendering styles, his works reflect cultural and generational shifts in values.

The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm (excluding holidays) so plan your visit today!

Installation day with Tatsuki Hakoyama! The new exhibition “A Twist in the Tale” is on display from now until Sept. 20th!

Fables, folklore, and fairy tales have long been used to pass down morals. The paintings of Tatsuki Hakoyama reimagine these stories through a contemporary lens, using whimsical compositions that blend representational and flat styles to highlight tensions between past and present and reflect shifting cultural and generational values.

Thank you to all who attended our opening reception for this year’s Juried Community Art Exhibition, it was an amazing turnout! The show features 68 local artists and over 80 works of art!

Congrats to all of this year’s award winners and to everyone that made it into the show!

REMINDER! This week is the artwork drop off for our 23rd Annual Juried Art Exhibition! Bring up to two pieces for consideration Tuesday 5/19 thru Thursday 5/21, 10am-5pm each day. There is a $15 non-refundable entry fee per piece. We can’t wait to see your work!
