Join us at Friday Night at the Art Center on June 26 6 p.m. — 8 p.m. for "Thrown, Stamped, Stacked, and Poured: Ceramic Performance and Installation," the final exhibition in the Palo Alto Art "Center’s Centering: Clay and Community" series!

This evening will include a participatory performance with exhibiting artist Elana Mann , in which we will activate her clay protest rattles in a sound experience that highlights themes of community and collective voice.

Enjoy an evening of performance, art, drinks, and community as we celebrate the closing chapter of this powerful series together.

Visual Description:
A light orange flyer with a circular photo cutout in the bottom left corner of a table filled with adults and children working with markers, paper, scissors, and glue. The text in the middle is in bold, colorful letters, and reads "Friday Night At the Art Center, June 26, 6-8 p.m., cash bar, camaraderie, creativity." The Palo Alto Art Center logo is in the bottom right corner.

“’I really am an artist.” 🧑🏽‍🎨🖌️👩🏾‍🎨🎨🧑🏽‍🎨🖼️👨‍🎨

That’s what a student said after seeing a project they made in class, professionally displayed on the walls of a gallery at the Palo Alto Art Center.

This is Creative Connections: teaching artists bringing art into East Palo Alto classrooms, connecting creativity to science, social studies, and learning.

$25/month will support art supplies for 10 lessons.
