From 2001 to 2011 he was faculty member at the Art Institute of New York City, Briarcliffe College NY, and Chub Institute NYC. Teaching: Cinematography, Video Production, Digital Film, Computer Applications, Graphic Design, and Interactive Media. Besides painting, Today Toto coaches 1 on 1 in all of those subjects. He started making films (fiction) in 1985. He made his debut as Director/Producer/Editor in non-fiction on May 2009, with the film “Equal Rights Documentary”. December 2010, he finished the documentary: “Ulla, The Art of Ulla Darni”. Totó's passion is paint on canvas. He worked as retouch artist at the D and D Building in New York City. From this knowledge he sees making movies as drawing with the camera and painting with the light. He always encourages students to follow their dreams, as he always does. His main focus in documentary is human rights, and spirituality.
