🖌️ Self – taught Hi World! I'm Linda Sacketti! Art is my passion and now my full-time career.

I'm a self-taught artist and I have been painting all my life. I love to travel and when I do, I take many, many photographs. Then when I return home to my studio, I take my photos and create my art. My media of preference is acrylic paint on canvas. Acrylic paint gives me more freedom than oils and I don't need to use any linseed oils or solvents.

Heavenly Array brings a calm, refined presence with a delicate cascade of white orchids set against a deep indigo backdrop. The contrast and subtle shifts of light and shadow give each bloom a quiet clarity that makes it easy to imagine above a console, over a sofa, or beside a reading nook. I wanted something that adds tranquility and grace without taking over the room. I created a portrait of Paul McCartney from an old photo I found online. His direct, slightly weary gaze and pale eyes draw you in, while subtle shadows and color shifts give the face a textured, lived-in quality. Dark, tousled hair and a black jacket form a simple silhouette against a neutral backdrop, keeping the focus on that quiet, honest presence. I still love his music, and this felt like a small way to mark that. See it here: https://www.lindasacketti.art/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/paul-mccartney-prints

Islands in Blue brings a calm, bright presence to a room: luminous blues meet mossy greens and warm russet as islands rise from open water beneath a wide, pale sky. There’s a hush here and a little motion, with waves nudging the shore and clouds drifting toward somewhere unknown. Which part pulls you in, the open water, the nearest ridge, or that distant peak? Which color would you lose yourself in today? If you’d like to see it in person or learn about available sizes, DM me or check it out here: https://www.lindasacketti.art/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/along-the-cape-copy. I’d be happy to help pick the right size for your space.

Sharing a portrait of Brian May. Queen has always been one of my favorite bands, and Brian’s presence here feels both dignified and warm. His silver curls frame a steady, quietly amused expression against a deep blue background that brings the figure forward. Small touches like the bolo tie in red, white, and gold add character without being showy. Here’s "Venezuela coast," inspired by a trip I took to Venezuela years ago. Waves meet a rocky shoreline and layered headlands fade into soft, misted color, with the hues getting paler the farther back you look. Warm corals sit against cool blues and greens, creating a quiet, breezy feeling that still suggests movement. Take a closer look here: https://www.lindasacketti.art/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/venezuela-coast What part of this view catches your attention?

I'm pleased to share "Purple Passion." It centers a single iris in deep blues and violets with lilac highlights and a warm, orange-tinged throat against a soft green backdrop. The balance of cool and warm tones feels bold without being loud, and it makes a calm focal point for a living room, study, or hallway. See it up close and preview it on your wall here: https://www.lindasacketti.art/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/purple-passion-print — where would you hang this?
