This holiday season, help us strengthen what we’ve built and plan for the future of the arts in western Kentucky!

As Yeiser Art Center approaches its 70th year in Paducah, we’re looking ahead to what’s possible. Your support helps us keep the arts accessible, create opportunities for artists, bring our community together, and build a vibrant future for the arts.

We are excited for Mrs. D'Heilly to lead our art and wellness initiative. A million thank you to Kennedy Williams for writing this lovely article and leading our poetry club, "Common Grounds." Arts organizations are nothing without passionate team members and a community that continually shows up and I am very honored to be working with so many great people

Monday Art Talk: The Importance of Play

Why do artists take play so seriously?

As we look toward 2027, Play is one of six pillars guiding the Yeiser’s vision for the future. Play encourages us to experiment, embrace failure, strengthen our problem-solving skills, and shift our focus from perfection to exploration.

From now through the end of the year, we’ll be sharing more about the six pillars shaping our institution: Wellness, Play, Connection, Hospitality, Practice, and Cultural Exchange.

You can also help us build our vision! Visit the Yeiser to see our community sculpture grow. With every donation of $25 or more, we’ll add a colorful butterfly bearing your name, representing the pillar that matters most to you. Your support helps strengthen the Yeiser while showing us what our community values most as we plan for 2027. 🦋

🎨 Teen Spirit submissions are OPEN! 🎨

Calling all talented high school artists across Western Kentucky! Students can apply by working with their high school art teacher to submit their artwork for this year’s Teen Spirit exhibition.

This year’s juror, Ms. Burkhardt, is a teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Art Education, and we’re excited to have her help us celebrate the incredible creativity of our region’s young artists!

We can’t wait to see what Western Kentucky’s high school students have been creating! 🖌️✨

We had a productive Artist at the Table meeting and are excited to share that plans are underway for the Art Crawl on October 24th! 🖼️✨
