I loved hearing Jim Lally’s stories about his Dad Pat Lally who was a salesman for the List Drugstore from the 1940’s-1970’s. Jim was born and raised in Paducah and he & Jennifer Gleason now reside in Maysville. It’s nice when Wm. Clark Market House Museum visitors include us in the visit and share their history with us. Jim & Jennifer are posing beside the List Drugstore exhibit.

It was a pleasure meeting, Joe and Joan Heater from Chicago. Joe was born at Riverside Hospital in Paducah. He enjoyed seeing the baby bed crib from the old Riverside hospital. He also shared memories of attending the old farmers market at the Market House buying live chickens, and vegetables with his mother grandmother, Mrs. Goodloe.
