What a wonderful afternoon at Finley River Gallery! 🎂🎨

Today we painted whimsical watercolor cupcakes while exploring water control, lifting color for highlights, and adding shadows for depth. One of the biggest surprises for many artists was how little paint it actually took to create such beautiful results.

Every painting was unique, every artist added their own touch, and by the end of class the tables were filled with beautiful artwork and smiling faces.

Thank you to everyone who joined me for “Let Them Paint Cake!” Your creativity, laughter, and willingness to experiment made this birthday class extra special. 💜

What a wonderful day at Finley River Gallery!

We celebrated with a special birthday watercolor class, “Let Them Paint Cake,” and our artists created beautiful cupcake paintings while learning watercolor techniques including texture, lifting color, water control, and adding shadows.

One of the best parts of the day was seeing how each painting became unique. Everyone started with the same drawing, but every artist left with their own interpretation and style.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared some birthday cupcakes, and spent the morning painting and laughing together. Seeing so many proud smiles and finished paintings made the day extra special!

We are excited to celebrate one of our talented artists, Carol Snyder!

Her piece, “Circling Around,” has been juried into the June Featured Artist Wall at Lucid TLC Arts for their 12x12 and Under Show.

This special exhibition highlights outstanding small-format artwork, and we are so proud to see Carol’s work recognized and selected for this opportunity. Congratulations, Carol! 🎉🎨

The opening reception will be held Saturday, June 6th from 5–8 PM in downtown Nixa. Be sure to stop by and support local artists and the vibrant arts community.

The Veterans Resource Fair & Community Hiring Event is here! If you are a veteran or family of a vet, you're invited to the resource fair today (May 20). Then on Thursday veterans and the general public are encouraged to attend a hiring event. Both events run 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lifepoint Church in Ozark. Bring your resume!
