ReincARTnated My mission is to decrease our carbon footprint, develop a balance in my life and others, all the while using recyclable materials to create upcycled art.

Today is not like yesterday, traditions and history are changing; and while change is good....some things are meant to stay the same and last. The past is the future, but in order to see that you have to learn to see what benefits it provides. Part of that is to open our eyes to the over consumption and "throw away" world we are becoming and its negative effects it is having on our everyday lives.

It will NOT get better until we make the changes. I have personally vowed to be the change that I want to see and have dedicated my life and work to doing that. I take what many consider to be trash and upcycle it into useful items and artistic endeavours. Because I care about my community I want to be a part of Ventura County. I want local artists and small business' to come together and form a symbiotic relationship where all parties benefit and bloom. I'm concerned about the bigger, chain franchises that are pushing the small business wo/man out to make room for over processed, unoriginal items. Im hope to make a difference, starting with me, to improve local relations while decreasing the impact we have on our Earth. I want to know that in 50+years my children's children will live a happy healthy life.

A WOMAN was flying from Melbourne to Brisbane ...
Unexpectedly, the plane was diverted to Sydney.
The flight attendant explained that there would be a delay, and if the passengers wanted to get off the aircraft the plane would re-board in 50 minutes..
Everybody got off the plane except one lady who was blind.
A man had noticed her as he walked by and could tell the lady was blind because her Seeing Eye Dog lay quietly underneath the seats in front of her throughout the entire flight.
He could also tell she had flown this very flight before because the pilot approached her, and calling her by name, said, 'Kathy, we are in Sydney for almost an hour. Would you like to get off and stretch your legs?'
The blind lady replied, 'No thanks, but maybe Max would Like to stretch his legs.'
Picture this:
All the people in the gate area came to a complete standstill when they looked up and saw the pilot walk off the plane with a Seeing Eye dog!
The pilot was even wearing sunglasses.
People scattered.
They not only tried to change planes, but they were trying to change airlines!
True story...
