Come see TAYLOR, MISSISSIPPI by Jared Spears. Jared’s deftly painted landscapes are an homage to his home. Collectively, the paintings are a narrative that taps in to an obsession with nature, time, and transformation, an eternal preoccupation of artists. His contemplative story of the land he inhabits is worth your time and attention.

Join us next Thursday, October 1, 6:30 - 8:30 PM for the opening reception of TAYLOR, MISSISSIPPI by Jared Spears!

Taylor, Mississippi — its landscape, evolving environment, and fauna — is the focus of Jared Spears’ upcoming exhibition. Jared’s romantic landscape paintings range from pensive to suspenseful. They have a seductive nature, true to the essence of the lush locale they depict. This is Jared’s third solo exhibition at Southside, his first since DRAINAGE in 2024.
