FALL BREAK ART CAMP AT THE OMFA! Sponsored by RiverValley Behavioral Health, Fall Break Art Camp returns to the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art October 13–16! Artists ages 6–17 will explore vibrant fall colors, textures, and cultural traditions.

Session options:
Morning – 9:00-11:00 OR afternoon – 1:00-3:00

TUESDAY, OCT. 13: Pumpkin Patterns
Create a one-of-a-kind Zentangle masterpiece using watercolor and illustration markers. Artists will experiment with intricate line work and patterns while discovering the relaxing practice of Zentangle.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 14: Festive Foil
Inspired by Día de los Mu***os and Mexican Folk Art, artists will explore colorful symbolism and create elaborate decorative artwork using aluminum foil and markers.

THURSDAY, OCT. 15: String Magic
Children will explore sculpting, engineering, costuming, and character development while transforming everyday materials into creative marionettes.

FRIDAY, OCT. 16: Tertiary Trees
Explore color theory by mixing primary and secondary colors to create unlimited combinations. Artists will use color and shape to assemble their own beautiful fall forest on paper.

It was wonderful to see creativity shine during July’s "Imaginative Surrealism” Art Camp. Young artists had a blast exploring dreamlike themes and experimenting with unusual design concepts.
