We're a little over a week away from our first summer event: KY 250 Art Camp! Only a few spots remain. If you're looking for an opportunity for your kiddo to make new friends, create, and explore, the KENTUCKY 250 Art Camp is the place to be!
“KENTUCKY 250” FREE Summer Art Camp at the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art, sponsored by RiverValley Behavioral Health, will take place June 8–12 and celebrates Kentucky’s rich history through creative, hands-on projects for ages 6–15.
Please see the following information below about available sessions and each day’s project:
• AFTERNOON ONLY - June 9 – “Cartography Creations” (imaginative map-making)
• AFTERNOON ONLY - June 10 – “Kentucky Colors” (mixed-media art inspired by home and heritage)
• MORNING ONLY - June 11 – “Pieces of History” (paper quilt designs)
• AFTERNOON ONLY - June 12 – “Pictorial Expression” (Shaker-inspired textured artwork)
Sessions are held 9–11 a.m. and 1–3 p.m.
This free camp series, taught by professional artists & educators, is open to all children in the region. Space is limited, and reservations are required.
