The costumes deserve one more moment in the spotlight! 👻

Our first CMOO After Dark may be over, but we still have a $25 CMOO Gift Certificate to award for Best Costume!

With our fog machine causing a little unexpected excitement toward the end of the evening, we didn't get the chance to capture everyone's costumes. So now we're turning it over to YOU!

📸 Share your favorite costume photos from CMOO After Dark in the comments below! Whether it's your little ghost, superhero, witch, or the whole family dressed up, we want to see them!

❤️ Help us choose a winner! Browse the photos and give a LIKE to your favorite costume. The photo with the most likes will win our $25 CMOO Gift Certificate!

⏰ Voting closes Friday, October 16 at 12:00 PM (noon)! Only likes on photos posted in the comments of this original post will count.

Let's give those amazing costumes the recognition they deserve!

Well, Oswego… we certainly made a night of it! 🌙🔦

Our first CMOO After Dark was everything we hoped it would be and then some!

And apparently, we weren’t the only ones who thought the night was a big deal… even the fire department decided to make an appearance when our fog machine got a little too enthusiastic towards the end of the night!

We promised an unforgettable night, and apparently, we delivered.

All jokes aside, seeing so many families enjoying an evening made just for kids was exactly why we wanted to try something different this Halloween.

THANK YOU to everyone who joined us, our wonderful staff, and everyone who helped bring this event to life. You made our first After Dark one for the books!

Here’s a peek at the evening that kept us all on our toes!

Same time next year? Maybe just a little less fog. 😉

CMOO IS BREAKING CURFEW. 🔦

For one Sunday night, we're keeping the doors open late and filling the museum with some wonderfully weird things to do.

Follow the Flashlight Quest through the museum. Stop by The Witch’s Potion Lab to concoct something with our resident witch. Test your skills in the After Dark Challenge Zone, where you can take on Skeleton Shootout, Ghost Blaster, Catapult Carnage and the Water Flip Challenge.

Then head to the After Dark Investigation Station, where things get creative, curious, and a little messy. Make a glowing creation in the Monster Workshop, try your hand at Build-a-Bat, and dig right into Pumpkin Guts Exploration.

Sunday, October 11 | 6:00-8:00 PM

And since Monday morning doesn't come with a school bell, Sunday night seems like a pretty good time to stay out past bedtime.

CALLING ALL BALLOON ARTISTS!

CMOO is looking for a balloon artist to join us for our Museum After Dark event on Sunday, October 11 from 6:00–8:00 PM!

We’re hoping to connect with a local balloon artist who would be willing to donate their time and talents to help make the evening extra special for our families.

As a thank-you, CMOO would be happy to provide complimentary play passes, and we’ll also recognize and promote you or your business through our social media and event promotion.

We love the opportunity to highlight local businesses and community members who help make experiences like this possible!

Interested, or know someone who might be a great fit? Send us a message or tag them below!

We’d love to have you be part of the night!
