Osakis Area Heritage Center This is the official page for the Osakis Area Heritage Center located in Osakis, MN.

The Osakis Area Heritage Center is an incorporated non-profit organization that strives to discover, preserve and share the history of Osakis and the surrounding area. The organization is administered by a seven-person, all-volunteer board of directors. It is supported by donations and dues from public membership in the organization. Annual dues are $25.00 (Individual), $50.00 (Family), and $100.00 (life membership for those over 60. An annual meeting is held every September, at which time the board reports to its members and hears their concerns and suggestions.

Who remembers the Farm Court? The Farm Court Supper Club was built in 1948-owned and operated by Tony and Lucille Schlosser. It was located just west of Osakis on what is now hwy 82.
The 1967 Farm Court menu included a half chicken for $1.75, hamburger for 30 cents and coffee for a dime.
Fire destroyed the supper club in 1968 and then the cafe building was sold to Vern and Hildegard Belcourt.

The Osakis Area Heritage Center is an incorporated non-profit organization that strives to discover, preserve and share the history of Osakis and the surrounding area. The organization is administered by a seven-person, all volunteer board of directors. It is supported by donations and dues from public membership in the organization. We maintain a 501(c)3 status and are listed on the Publication 78 Data list of the Federal Internal Revenue Service with a code of PC (public charity). We also maintain a Nonprofit organization status with the State of Minnesota.

An annual meeting is held every September, at which time the board reports to its members and hears their concerns and suggestions.

This year our annual meeting is going to be held at the Osakis Area Heritage Center in the Osakis Information Center building on Tuesday, September 15th at 4PM.

If you are a current member, it is time also to renew your annual membership in the Osakis Area Heritage Center. Annual dues are $25.00 Individual, $50.00 Family, and $100.00 a lifetime membership for those over 60.
