The season of giving and Thanksgiving is fast approaching. We want the thank those who have already been so generous with your donations and memorial gifts. Reach out to organizations who match your gifts, such as Thrivent, https://thriventcharitable.thrivent.com
Remember our "Fall into History" campaign as well. Here's the link to our donation page, https://www.mitchellcountyhistoricalsociety.org/donate

Again, thanks to Shop on State's grant for the purchase of our drone used to film Main Street morning at Autumn Artistry. Kind of wet, but hey, we're tough. Lots of people and bargains!

We've designed a letter to jump start or "Fall into History" fund raising campaign. It's actually three pages long explaining what the fund raising is for and several ways do donate. We've been meeting with tax preparers in the county hoping they can assist donors to avoid taxes this year. Consider these 7 ways to give - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LEYYIrt4Cnl5gIiQ8MxxfGd4wXlNCIyQ/view?usp=drive_link

These photos are not from a real house. This is actually a model of a general store that once operated in Mitchell County and is so realistically complete that the miniature photos on the wall are actually relatives of the original store owners. See this week's The Enterprise Journal for a feature story on this amazing creation. Better yet...stop into the museum and view it yourself!!! It's worth the visit.
