Heya folks! We've been quiet on Facebook, but we're definitely still around. One of the biggest changes we've made at the gallery is that we've decided to sell Augusto Marín's Estampas Taurinas lithographs individually, and not just in a set.

While you still get an immense amount off purchasing them if you buy the complete series, we did this because the price point - $125 - makes them affordable to a greater amount of people. This also means that as we sell them, we will eventually run out of entire sets of Estampas Taurinas. So if you had daydreamed about filling a wall in your house or office with them, now's the time to buy them!

Otherwise, this is one of the best deals on the market that exists.

Second to last reminder: our gallery is still giving out this beautiful print of a Christmas card Puerto Rican painter Augusto Marín made in the 1960s with every order until tomorrow, Three Kings Day! We've given out 26 out of 50 in the print series, but we're going to save them for next Christmas once the sale is over.

FYI friends, we're extending our holiday sale until 6th of January. The reason is because we've made a limited series 8 1/2 x 11 print of this "Estampa navideña" from Tuto's old Christmas designs. Tuto liked making Christmas artwork due to its popular appeal, and also because it was adjacent to his general interest in the figure of Christ. We don't know if he made this one for the government or, perhaps, the Instituto de Cultura, as he made quite a few of these designs for different organizations, and the original drawings are still among the papers he left behind in his studio after he passed away in 2011.

At any rate, we're giving away these prints with every order until January 6! There's about two dozen left, as we already sent them out to people who previously ordered from the gallery.

Friends! After a few months of technical issues with our site provider now resolved, we're having our fall sale! It's been a while since our last one, so we're giving 10% off all Augusto Marín serigraphs, lithographs, and giclées, until the end of September!

In addition, we're also giving out for free this poetry booklet that was published to celebrate Tuto's 80th birthday, in 2001, with each order. They were originally published for sale in museums in Puerto Rico, although some of them were given to our family. It's called "De amores y otras pasiones..." and this is the only way to get one from us.

Friends - as some of you may have noticed, the company that hosts our online store and our payments system has had technical difficulties the last two months. We just resolved the issue, and now online payments and everything else works again! Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused our patrons, it was quite the ordeal for us!

PSA: The gallery has a couple of Augusto Marín serigraphs and lithographs that he produced in the late 1990s and early 2000s that are down to the very last reproduction - there's only one left of each.

They are the "Vieques Amado" (2004 edition) and "Sara" (2003 edition) serigraphs, and the "Paloma en vuelo" (1999 edition) lithograph.

Once they're gone, you'll have to pry them from a private collector or see if you can scrounge one up on eBay.

Lissy Marín and Alfredo Marín-Carle at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce, Puerto Rico, during a February 2024 visit. Behind them is the mural by Augusto Marín titled "Las musas", which adorns the facade of the Centro de Bellas Artes. "Las musas" is currently undergoing restoration, in consultation with art conservationists from various other Puerto Rican art institutions, such as the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico.
