Drawing the human figure is difficult.
Especially when the model takes poses that can only be held for a short time before the pose changes. But change and movement are vital parts of life. Clouds shift in the sky, trees wave in the wind. Even our eyes move, when the face is still. Drawing quickly is a useful skill. This dynamic show features drawings that were done in only 15 minutes. Each artist had to decide what to leave out and what to emphasize, in order to catch each particular pose before it changed.
This exhibit shows us how skillfully each of these talented artists met the challenge.
