Cornerstone Café & Gallery: Changing Lives One Cup at a Time. Guests can also enjoy lunch at the café each Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11am-1pm.

Located in downtown Onarga, the Cornerstone Café & Gallery is the perfect place to meet friends and relax with a cup of coffee, iced drink, or smoothie. a biscuit and gravy breakfast is served on Saturday mornings starting at 8:30am. The Cornerstone Café is part of the Nexus-Onarga Family Healing vocational program, providing unique employment-training opportunities for our older youth in business

management, customer service, and barista skills. Through the Nexus-Onarga Grand Prairie School, youth are also able to participate in trainings for public health certifications. Looking for a special place to hold your next event? The Upper Room is available for meetings, gatherings, showers, classes, and even wedding receptions. Amenities include an AV system and access to a private restroom when the Café is closed. Cornerstone Café Supervisor Archer Christie carefully trains new student employees to make sure they're learning proper techniques and efficiency in the kitchen. Today's lesson while preparing a walking taco🌮 (a customer favorite!) covered both as they addressed quality and timing with a take-out order. Final result: speedy and cheesy! 🧀⏱️😊

Who's ready for lunch? We're serving grilled chicken wraps today (choose the wrap only or add fries-regular OR sweet potato). Here's what's included in the wrap: grilled chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, shredded cheese, bacon, and either barbeque or ranch sauce wrapped in a flour tortilla. Order with everything or customize to your liking! 😊

Learning about different culinary techniques and international flavors is especially important in the development of professional food service skills. Today's field trip followed our Cornerstone Café student employees to the Oishi Hibachi Steakhouse in Champaign for sushi and Asian cuisine, including a front row hibachi grill experience!
Café manager Archer Christie said everyone loved the restaurant-- definitely a sign that the educational outing was a sizzling success! 🍣🥢🍤🥢🥩

There's a reason the Cornerstone Café cinnamon rolls are always baked to perfection. Cafe assistant Kristen Smith uses her handy timer to keep track of the baking time, ensuring that the rolls come out of the oven golden brown with swirls of cinnamon and caramelized sugar bursting from the sweet spirals. Now add a cup of coffee to the scene, and you're all set!☕
