Hello everyone! Welcome to my page for my online art gallery.

"Once upon a time in the West." (36 x 36). I was happy to finish this piece earlier this morning. I started it over a month ago, but when I finished what I originally had in mind, it didn't work at all.

Frustrated, I painted over portions of it and let it sit on my easel for a week. Then another week. Finally, after more than two weeks, some new ideas started rising to the surface. Early last week, I went back to work on it and had some "middle of the night" sessions as well. It feels good to have crossed the finish line on this one.

Available for sale - $3250

"Cy-Hawk Faceoff" (36x 36). After weeks of hard work, I'm happy to present this new commission painting featuring Cy and Herky to the general public!

The idea behind this painting came from a father and his son. The father is a University of Iowa graduate while his son will start at Iowa State this fall. They wanted one painting that showcased both the mascots so they could both enjoy it. They sent me an AI-generated image that was the inspiration behind the painting.

I am thinking of having this painting made into a print. What do you think?

My clients and I are really happy with how it came out. If you would like to commission a painting for your home or office, please DM me. I will be open to new commissions starting next week. Thanks!

'Hilton Magic!!" (36x36). I'm happy to present this new painting of the Vintage Cy Basketball Mascot on a large canvas. I have not painted an Iowa State mascot on a large canvas for a few years so this was a pleasure to do it again.

This painting is not for sale to the general public but if you would like to commission a painting of your favorite school or sports team, please let me know. Thanks!

"1957 Rose Bowl Herky." (36 x 36). It has been a while since I painted a mascot but I am happy to release this new painting of Iowa's Herky from 1957. This painting was inspired by the lapel pin that was created for the Hawk's Rose Bowl appearance that year.

The 1956 Iowa Hawkeyes football team, achieved a 9–1 record (5–1 Big Ten), won the Big Ten Championship, and ranked #3 in the final AP Poll. In addition, they defeated Oregon State 35–19 in the 1957 Rose Bowl. One of the star players on that Hawkeye team was the legendary Alex Karras.

This painting is already spoken for. I will be selling prints of thispainting on my website and I will let you know when that is available. In addition, if you would like to commission a mascot painting of your favorite team, please DM me. Thanks!

Thanks again for all your support and I look forward to hearing your feedback on this new piece!

"Finding A Way." (24x 24). Well, this painting went through a lot of different phases. It started out and ended up as an abstract but, along the way, a beautiful woman made a surprise appearance.

When she was there, I could not create a background that I really loved without destroying the original background, which I didn't want to do. So, after trying unsuccessfully to figure it out, I painted over her and went back to my original idea.

I'm happy with how it turned out. It is for sale - $999 delivered. Please DM if interested. Thanks!
