As we enter a new year, I would like to say "Thank You" to all those who have volunteered throughout 2024. One of the most important programs I would like to acknowledge is our Veterans Day Program held here at the Centennial Cultural Center. We would like to say how much we appreciate those who come out and show their support for our Veterans each year during this program. The Jena Times Olla-Tullos-Urania Signal always does such a wonderful job covering our programs, and all Veteran Day events held throughout LaSalle Parish. This year's featured veterans were John Richard Hudson Jr. who served in the U.S. Army and Charles McDougald who served in the Air Force. Each were presented the Quilt of Valor from Hilda Franklin and Billie Brown. The Centennial Cultural Center would like to acknowledge those who helped with the program this year. Because without you it would not have been possible.

Art, Jazz & Jambalaya Local Artist Exhibition. Art from Central & North Louisiana Universities will be on display throughout November.
Come out on November 30, @ 6:00 pm and enjoy Jambalaya and other great food while listening to The Grambling Jazz Quartet!

QUILT EXHIBITION
The first quilt was pieced and quilted by Polly Bunch of Sulfur, LA. This quilt was a gift to Megan Lindsey from her Aunt Polly.

The second quilt done in the Christmas Star Pattern was pieced by Imogene Weaver of Olla, Louisiana, and quilted by the Olla First Baptist Church ladies quilting group.

These are two more examples of the beautiful works of at that are on display at the Quilt Exhibition this week!
