In Memory of Roscoe Yoder

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Roscoe Yoder, former Curator of the Kansas City Automotive Museum.

Roscoe was a cherished part of the KCAM family. He began his journey with the Museum as a volunteer in 2017, joined our staff in 2020, and served as Curator from 2022 to 2025.

His passion for automotive history, incredible knowledge, and unwavering dedication to the Museum left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Roscoe had a special love for British automobiles of all kinds, but anyone who knew him knew that Bentleys held a special place in his heart. His enthusiasm for these beautiful cars was just one of the many things that made Roscoe so memorable.

Outside of his passion for cars, Roscoe was an avid stamp and rare book collector. He loved history and seized every opportunity to share it with younger generations.

Roscoe genuinely cared about the Museum and the people who were part of it. He was a respected member of the Kansas City automotive community and someone we were fortunate to call part of our KCAM family.

We are forever grateful for the time, knowledge, and heart he shared with KCAM. His legacy will continue to be part of our story.

Our thoughts are with Roscoe's family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched.

Rest in peace, Roscoe. You will be deeply missed.
