Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Reflection on their sacrifice is something to honor not just today, but every day. In tribute to the many, in honor of all, we offer our gratitude.

It’s Friday! Let’s get “Wild & Crazy!”
When Steve Martin’s avant-garde standup comedy exploded upon the scene in the 1970s, he was playing this 1927 Gibson Florentine model banjo. Through countless appearances on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson, The Muppet Show as well as many other television programs and mainstream comedy concerts, Steve Martin’s “Wild & Crazy” banjo is one of the most recognizable and historically significant banjos of all time.
(If you were lucky to happen upon him in those days, he might give you his card!) See it and more currently in our Pop! Goes the Banjo! exhibit!
On loan from Steve Martin. Thank you, !

Today, and every day, we remember.

On April 19, 1995, 168 lives were taken in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. In the face of unimaginable loss, Oklahoma showed the world what resilience looks like—what we now call the Oklahoma Standard: compassion, service, and strength in the hardest moments.

We honor those we lost by continuing to live it.

Another great Old Time Jam! Thanks to all who came out! Next one will be the first Sunday in May!
