Who knows this man? What is he doing or up to? Someone mentioned magic of some sort. Would love to know who he is, and moreso if anyone knows what he is actually doing. Very strange.

Exciting new pieces from Wayne Kilborn! The last painting pictured here is rare, among his body of work. If you love his brutalist, almost steam-punk architectural vibe, but have been waiting for something particularly unique, this is IT 🤩

Urban Intercept 16x20
Descending from Below 14x18
Kinetic Flux 24x48

These will be available during First Friday in August.

Katy Nickell opened Main Street Pottery in downtown Norman in 2022, where she works, teaches pottery classes & sells art. Previously she was the ceramics professor at Oklahoma City Community College. Before that she taught art at Norman High School and at Central Washington University. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Bachelor’s Degree; she went on to receive a Masters in Fine Art from Central Washington University.
She’s been working in ceramics and 3-D art for 30+ years and continues to refine her body of work. A continuing theme in her work has been the innate draw and power in femininity and she frequently uses flowers to represent those qualities. In her graduate thesis exhibition she created over a thousand handmade porcelain flowers for a garden instillation.
Hand-building, throwing and slip-casting are some of the techniques that are used in creating her artwork.

For as long as she can remember, Eve has been drawn to art. As a young child, she spent hours filling sheets of paper with drawings of people and animals—a way for her to tell stories, express herself, and channel her creativity. While art has always been a part of her life, it wasn’t until more recently that she began to paint with serious intent.
Eve holds a degree in engineering and a master’s in accounting. During her time at home raising her children, she rediscovered her passion for creating and picked up a paintbrush almost on a whim. What began with playful experiments in acrylic evolved into an exploration of various mediums, ultimately leading her to oil paint—now her preferred and primary medium.
Working in a style best described as contemporary realism, Eve captures the nuance of everyday life with a sensitivity to detail, emotion, and atmosphere. She draws inspiration from the world around her—whether it’s a fleeting glance from a stranger, the quiet beauty of nature, or the complexities of human connection. These influences shape her choices in color, texture, and form, allowing her to communicate emotions that words often fail to express.
Eve regularly exhibits her work in Southwest Oklahoma, where she continues to grow her presence in the regional art community.

“I think of myself as a multidisciplinary artist. I work primarily in wood veneer creating marquetry pieces ranging in size from 4” to as large as 10’ x 16’. I am also a working singer/songwriter/guitarist for hire. I write stories and make stop animation videos too! I love projects that are theme based or concept oriented. I don’t mind using my art as a tool to bring awareness to unfairness in our world. My themes include Native American, fantasy, social justice, and nature.”
