Iowa Rural Schools Museum of Odebolt A country school setting displaying many items showing schools' role in settling Iowa. Wed. 10-4, Sat NO CHARGE for entrances.

A rural school building, in service from 1883 to 1951, moved to the center of Odebolt and now refurbished shows a typical country classroom as well as many displays of rural schools' role in the development of the western 2/3 of Iowa and its settlement. Open Wednesdays 10-4, Saturdays and Sundays 2-4 from Memorial Day through September 1, or by appointment, calling 712-668-2231 or 712-830-8328.
