St. Switches: Switchy Tarot and Multi-Perspective Performer

St.Switches is a multi persona experience: King (Mr.Keith Legend), Queen (Capt. Morgana) and all your dreams in between ;) There’s also Darleen- She’s been intuitively reading tarot for 10 years. They’ve been performing dance for a lifetime, and drag for 2 years: His art and movement practice aims to invoke (political) perceptual awareness through embodied illusion. Shifting energy -> shifts movement -> shifts engagement; How will you choose to engage? What will you choose to see?

**ARTIST SPOTLIGHT**

Rhys Rainer & The No-Brainers

Rhys Rainer & The No-Brainers is a q***r-fronted alt folk-punk, San Francisco-based band! We perform dynamic, original songs that engage even audiences who have never heard our music before. The band is… Rhys Rainer: a pre-transition faggoty trans man who sings and plays three different mandolins. Judi Brown is an incredible bass player and fun back up vocalist who identifies as a rainbow goth. And Robert James Johnson is a totally talented weirdo that always steals the show playing shakers, gogo bells and the jaw harp in addition to his drum kit! They are a newer band but Rhys and Rob were in a previous band, Raven Marcus (cowboy glam rock), and have been writing songs together for about 20 years.

Pickles

えっとねーthrough the curiosity-and-covet-induced lenses he wears as a perfervid and perverted artist and bartender, pickles (he/him) attempts to vulnerably divulge the perceptions and desires he has navigating the complexities and nuance of gay + q***r nightlife/community. almost always with a pen, notebook, drink and/or smoke in hand, plus headphones on max volume, pickles captures what he sees in the bar scenes q***rs create as well as the other spaces in which q***rs show their many angles of beauty, ugly, and everything in between. there is strong desire for both his rational and irrational feelings of misunderstanding to be both expressed n maybe alleviated in this outlet~

**ARTIST SPOTLIGHT**

Boudia Lafleur:
They are a diviner, ancestral worker, poet, and artist of Metís and European ancestry. They were born and raised in Berkeley, California. Now they currently live in Oakland, California. They are a q***r genderfluid autistic individual that moves through the world of rivers and stones. They are also currently part of the Wakan Wiya Two-Spirit Drum that’s local in the SF Bay Area. Their artist experiences came from their own explorations as a child and then later in their late teens and in their trans-masculine era, they were a former youth participant of non-profit organization Youth Spirit Artworks in South Berkeley. They’ve specialized in paintings and now they specialize in poetry. They have thought about getting back more into painting, sculpture, music, and other mediums of art.

**ARTIST SPOTLIGHT**

Eric Singleton

Eric Singleton is a San Francisco-based designer and artist. Drawn to tactile ways of making in an increasingly digital world his practice focuses on woodworking, risograph, and screenprinting. His current work is rooted in the vast archival holdings of the GLBT Historical Society Archives, where the sheer density of preserved stories and lost futures inspired him to create art around q***r stories at the cutting edge of society. He makes objects and images as mechanisms for connection: ways for people to find their way into stories that were always meant for them. He lives with his partner and their dog Canela - all of them love a family outing to Fort Funston!

**ARTIST SPOTLIGHT**

Ray Gonzalez

Ray Gonzalez (he/they b. South Florida 1992) moved to Oakland California in 2022, and immediately found a sense of home in the abundant diversity; enamoured by the sense of community and pops of natural native flora throughout the bay holding on in the cracks of urban society. Drawn to the stark contrast of positive and negative space created by relief printmaking; carving out the negative and exposing the positive, a metaphysical process. His art practice is all about healing through art. Healing connections with the earth, and healing connections: with each other building community and fostering the natural cycles of regeneration.
