If these dates don't work for your group, drop us an email and we will see if we can make another date happen. The exhibit is open Monday through Thursday 10 am to 3 pm.... but tours can extend into the evening if you need. You can also hold a meet up in the space for your group...we created a meeting area within the exhibit so you can debrief, catch up, and chat after the tours. [email protected]

If you are a survivor of sexual assault and want to do some healing work through creative arts, this may be the support group for you! Taught by former foster youth, we are prioritizing current and former foster youth in SF. Be in touch if you are interested. There is even a small stipend for attendance and a Pop-Up exhibition is planned for Aug 16!

Freedom Forward's Helping Young People Elevate - HYPE Center is, THIS WEDNESDAY, hosting a community conversation with youth commissioners, members of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and hopefully you! Come through, check out Foster Youth Museum's Hope Through the Eyes of HYPE exhibition, stay for conversation, community and some nibbles.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Roots of Hope: A Daoist Healing Circle. Together, we explored the Daoist Five Elements, reflected on our relationships with ourselves and our communities, and practiced releasing what no longer serves us.

We're grateful to facilitator Yu-Shuan Tarango-Sho for sharing wisdom rooted in Daoist traditions and creating a space for healing, connection, and hope ❤️

Have you ever thought about what is left behind when a child is taken into foster care? Toys, bikes, pets, scooters, favorite clothes, sports teams, local parks, etc. Foster Youth Museum tells this and many other stories in our exhibits. Currently on display through September 9th at Community Works, 986 Mission Street in San Francisco.
