Such a beautiful moment visiting the Bouquet to Art exhibition at the de Young Museum. The floral designers create arrangements inspired by works in the museum’s collection, and this vibrant bouquet felt like a perfect match for the luminous landscape by Richard Mayhew. His work captures the feeling and spirit of the landscape in such a powerful way. If you’re in San Francisco, this exhibition is definitely worth seeing!
And if you’ve ever thought about adding a Richard Mayhew to your collection, feel free to send us a DM - we’d be very happy to help make that happen.

Gordon Parks “American Gothic,” 1942
This photograph confronts the contradiction between American ideals and lived reality. Park reimagines Grant Wood’s iconic paining through the lens of segregation, dignity, and quiet resistance—placing a Black woman at the center of the American story. A work that remains as urgent today as when it was originally captured.
