Friends,

Black Spring Coffee has closed our shop at 2930 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. We are deeply saddened by this surprising and quick turn in our lives. The landlord has a different vision for the space that doesn’t involve us. After a long and arduous back and forth with the landlord we have come to an agreement and are going to move on. Our roastery continues on and you can order the same great coffee you’re used to at www.blackspringcoffee.net

Black Spring Coffee became an extension of our home and through time became an extension of many others’ homes. In a way, we all become extensions of each other’s family. We are honored to have been part of this community for the time that we had. We love you. @ Black Spring Coffee Company

Heroes get arrested all the time but that doesn’t mean they don’t need your support. Housing is a human right. Love and respect to Moms 4 Housing.

No one should be homeless when homes are sitting empty. Housing is a human right. The Moms for Housing are uniting mothers, neighbors and friends to reclaim housing for the Oakland community from the big banks and real estate speculators.
