Oakdale Museum & History Center

Oakdale Museum & History Center Located in the historic Sydnor-Prowse House, the Oakdale Museum is the oldest building in Oakdale, dating back to 1869.

It houses artifacts, memorabilia and photographs of Oakdale’s history. This page is meant to share a bit about the history of our great little town. Most people are not aware that we have civil war troops buried right here, or that the hwy was once an Indian trail. If you have a question, just ask.....we are happy to share the history. If you want to know more, come visit us at the museum....we ar

e happy to talk and or help with the research. The page is also managed by several people, who may or may not all appear as Oakdale Museum :)
