Mary Ann Strandell’s “Blue Green India” is featured in our Back Room and will be included in our upcoming “Layers in Motion” exhibition opening August 9th. The works begin as singular paintings and evolve into lenticular's complex montage-system, translating hand drawn and painted images into multi-layered, optical fabrications.

Innsæi is another series of paintings in our current show, “Maelstrom of Memory.” It is an ancient Icelandic word that means "intuition" or "the sea within," referring to the borderless nature of our inner world, which is made up of vision, feelings, and imagination that go beyond words.

Artist Preeti Varma's series, "Nefelibata," features abstracted figurations inspired by urban environments. The title, "Nefelibata," is a Portuguese term that translates as "cloud walker," referring to someone who uses their imagination as a driving force.

Happy Mother’s day!💐 Today we honor and celebrate mothers all around the world. Pictured is a painting by artist and mother, Mary Cassatt. Cassatt found inspiration in Japanese woodblock compositions, which frequently utilized a flat perspective, featuring striking patterns and distinct outlines. She often depicted the public and private lives of women through her paintings, more specifically the special bond between mother and child.
