National Road/ Zane Grey Museum Historic National Road/ Author Zane Grey/ Zanesville Art Pottery We are three museums in one contained in a building modeled after a frontier fort. Owens.

Firstly, we contain the history of the first federally funded highway in the United States, the National Road, which ran from Cumberland, MD, to Vandalia, IL. Secondly, we are the original Zane Grey museum, celebrating the Western author's life. Finally, we have a stunning collection of Ohio Art Pottery, featuring Weller, Roseville, and J.B.

Sign up for The National Road & Zane Gray Museum's all day nature camp! This event is located at our museum on June 15th for kids ages 9-10, and June 16th for kids ages 11-12 from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This year’s theme is Mammals! Registration is $20 per child and includes a Wally’s Pizza lunch and an educational book. Spaces are limited, so email [email protected] or call (740)-826-3305 to register.
