We at the Firelands Historical Society would like to extend our deepest thoughts and prayers to the family of Dan Rood, who was a current trustee and a past president of our organization. Words cannot express just how much he will be missed by his family, our organization, the community, and the Firelands area as a whole. He was one of a kind and a true steward of our history. We were exceptionally fortunate to have known him, worked with him, laughed with him, and collaborate with him over these many, many years. Rest in peace, dear friend.
