UPDATE!!! Our recent release of the Dog River Crier had said our opening for the Summer 2026 would be on May 30th but due to unforeseen circumstances we are postponing it June 6th. The reason for this is that very valuable member of our Historical Society passed away recently and the family has requested the use of the Paine House for a memorial service. For those who knew Ingrid Wilson are invited to join her family and friends at the Paine House at 3 PM to celebrate her life and legacy.
The main focus for our exhibits this year is the 250th birthday of the USA. Over the next several years we will be ramping up to celebrate the 250th celebration of making Vermont the 14th state.
Hours of operation for the summer are Saturdays 10 AM to 12 PM from June 6th through Labor Day weekend.
