The Hammond Museum joins BRUCE ODLAND's many friends and admirers to mourn the passing of this inspired and inspiring composer and sound artist. In summer 2024, he and collaborator multimedia artist Soli Pierce, created and installed the innovative exhibition "Sound Forest Installation: A Song of Disappearance". This group of wood totems built by Soli and enlivened with sound by Bruce brought art into our garden and sound into our art. We are so saddened by his loss but very grateful for his time with us.
