Two weeks left to see “Revelations in Art Therapy”

The exhibit encapsulates varied works by artists, teachers, students, and inmates that Martinez has worked with. These visual creations personify thoughts, feelings, emotions, and actions. Each experience is unique, and communicates through any and every dynamic of art form.

Two local exhibitions you won’t want to miss:

🌟 “Elysian Dimensions” is a traveling exhibition featuring the work of Nevada artist and CSN alumna Julia Gonzalez Hall.

Through vibrant color, expressive movement, and layered abstract forms, Hall explores the delicate balance between chaos and order, creating immersive works that invite personal interpretation and reflection. Inspired by her cultural heritage and multidisciplinary artistic practice, her paintings open a space for viewers to consider identity, emotion, and connection through the language of abstraction.

On view at the CSN Charleston Campus Student Union Gallery through October 31, 2026, before traveling to the Henderson and North Las Vegas campuses. Admission is free and open to the public.

🌟 “Game Changers” features the work of Saundra Lyle with work from DPAC art students. Now on view through December 18th. Free and open to the public with an appointment.

Saundra’s work often features portraiture in vivid color in honor of her own heroes and inspirations. You may recognize some of the faces in this exhibit if you too have been inspired by one of the many game changers that have come through Left of Center Art Gallery.

Ever wanted to try your hand at acting, or looking to brush up on your theater fundamentals? 🎭✨

Left of Center Art Gallery is hosting a FREE Craft Actor’s Workshop from July 22 to August 12, 2026!

Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced performer looking to sharpen your technique, this intergenerational space is open to everyone ages 18 and up.

🗓 When: Wednesdays (6:30–8:30 PM) & Saturdays (10:00 AM–Noon)

We had the best time hosting the Collage Workshop with Jeannie Hua! Our boardroom was transformed into a studio of collective storytelling through collage. Participants explored texture, composition, and visual layering to bring new meaning to everyday materials.
