Just in time for a little something I was working on. I try to keep evolving in my work so was no exception. Turns out I'm in my villain era. These two characters were experimental pieces. The background is an acrylic wash and rest is acrylic on canvas. Both are available. I had a lot of fun incorporating some symbols into these pieces and working with animated characters instead of realistic people. The King of Rock and Roll was lost to us on this day in 1977, as was the Queen of Soul in 2018. Both Elvis Presley and Aretha Franklin were undeniable talents, legends in their time, truly two people whose talent no one will be able to touch. They are greatly missed. I am always happy to display these pieces in shows, and would make a great addition for a any fans collection.
